Using locally-sourced produce as well as being fantastic value for money, you can’t go wrong when dining at The Royal Oak. To start, dishes such as the ham hock hash served with poached duck eggs and truffle oil; wood pigeon and pancetta salad; and seared scallops with apple jam, black pudding and crispy parma ham all come highly recommended.  Mains include the stunning pan-roasted loin of venison with parsnip puree; the assiette of pork or the individual beef wellington are generous in both flavour and portion size.
