This was our first visit to the Barnsdale Hall Hotel and hopefully it won't be our last. The food and service were good, but I was a little disappointed in the dining -room (no tablecloths, and the napkins were paper) Still it didn't spoil our visit and I would recommend this restaurant if asked.

Monday is not the best day but we were made to feel very welcome and the food was served well with out too much waiting. Very impressed, would visit again.

I went with my husband for a couple of nights and had an amazing and relaxing time. We spent a couple of days in area and loved the scenery and particularly being by Rultand water. The Hotel has great view over the water and on the 2nd night we tried the restaurant and dined in the conservatory. I have to say the service was excellent and very personable, (the lady remembered I liked herbal tea from the previous morning), and it made us feel welcome. The meal was a little more than we usually spend but worth every penny, my husbands pan fried seabass was beautifully soft. All in all £50 for 2 with a 2 course meal and a couple of drinks each...a great experience, thank you.
